Stalin started racing for DJR in 2014. Our lead elite racer, he was the 2015 Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Champion; he finished 3rd at the 2015 Tour of Somerville Cycling Classic, and took to the podium again for a 2nd at the 2015 Dave Jordan Central Park Classic. In 2016 he put together a brilliant season, repeating as Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Champion, and also claiming both the Overall Competition and the Sprint Competition for the I WILL FOUNDATION FBF Tuesday Night Racing series. On the national level he placed 6th in the AFA Cycling Classic Crystal Cup Criterium and 6th in the Dominican Republic Elite National Championships. Stalin was awarded the prestigious 2016 Jim Boyd Cup, the highest individual honor given by the CRCA.
Tony has been an integral part of DJR since the early days of the team. Over his impressive 30-year career he has raced internationally, winning national championships in Jamaica, and he is a former US National Road Champion. He placed fourth in the 2013 Masters US National Road Championship and claimed the 2013 New York State Criterium Championship. In 2016 he placed 2nd in the USA Cycling Masters Criterium National Championship.
Jason bolstered our elite team when he joined at the beginning of 2015. He comes to DJR with experience racing in international events such as the Vuelta Independence Nacional Republica Dominicana. He provides expert and consistent support throughout the race, bringing his team mates to the line in podium position.
Jesus Martinez joins DJR in 2018 as a Cat 2 racer. He got his start in bike racing through BMX and MTB - but we think Road is his strongest suit. We look forward to seeing him become a Cat 1 and adding depth to Dave Jordan Racing team.
Alan is Team Director of Rider Development for DJR. He is a USA Cycling Level 2 Cycling Coach and Certified Skills Instructor. He is also an accomplished Cat 2 racer in road, track, and cyclocross, with several top ten finishes in Pro 1/2 and masters events. Alan's wife, Sandy, is Team Senior Administrator, and their mighty Yorkie, Rocky, is our secret weapon.
Lynn is a three-time Antigua and Barbuda National Champion with a depth of international racing experience. His positioning and fast, dynamic sprint style earns him results such as the 2014 Masters New York State Criterium Championship. In 2016 he was the Antigua and Barbuda National Road Champion and the Castelli NY Cycling Series Sprint Competition Winner.
A racer who can relied upon to bury himself to chase down a break, and then recover to finish high enough to defend his Master's Leader's jersey? Jose is the man. He joined his son Jason on our Elite team in 2017, and has made a massive immediate impact in the P1/2 field.
Ray is a Cat 1 with possibly more experience than the entire rest of the peloton combined. A pivotal and popular figure in the NYC racing scene, he's the guy you can guarantee to be smiling on the start line. Don't let that fool you. Ray has the ability to rip the legs off us all. Dave Jordan Racing is proud to have him on the roster.
Much of the success of our elite team since 2013 can be attributed to Franklin's unselfish support for his team mates in every race. He is the ultimate workhorse, utilizing his power and race smarts to set up the team for top results. In addition, he consistently pays off with individual results such as claiming the overall KOM jersey in the 2014 Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup series.
Pedro joins us with a load of experience behind him. He's a savvy racer, who can be relied on the work for the team and has been putting in the miles this year in our quest for leaders jerseys in the big races. He has raced for W.S United and Echelon Cycles in the past, and we're proud to have him wearing our colors now.
Now in his third season with DJR Adam has turned his knack for crossing the line first into an upgrade to Cat 2. His wins include Floyd Bennett Field, Rockleigh Crit and Branchbrook and he has landed on the podium at Rockland Lake. He also proved tough to beat in stage races, taking 2nd M4/5 GC at the Giro del Cielo and 6th M4/5 GC at the Green Mountain Stage Race. In addition to road racing, he also competed for Team USA at the 2016 ITU Triathlon World Championships in Cozumel, Mexico.
